Annie/Mitchell Angst dialed up to Eleven and yet still totally organic, totally fair in the writing and true to both characters.
Pure Show not Tell.
All that Stages of dealing with the truth so well done and so all of them.
The beautifully constructed Greek Tragedy of it.
How unbelievably hot was Mitchell menacing Herrick!
And the chicken measuring contest.

OMFG. (I actually said that out loud)

I loved how everything was a product of the character's decisions and personalities and that the murders last season just keep having repercussions. And Annie as the moral centre of the show. ♥

My only sorrow is that I don't see how Mitchell appears in any subsequent series after this fallout.

He's definitely a dead vamp walking, and Annie's probably going through his door with him - as she said she'd stay with him.

But if she does that, she violates the same rule that Mitchell did when he went after her and Zombie Apocalypse takes Barry Island, so George and Recoverd Damnit Nina have to go after them to get them back to stop the influx of Zombies in Clubland and get the babysitters back. Though I suspect this will be S4 The Hobbit permitting and the finale will have both A/M going through the door to the men with sticks and rope.

Amazing. Bloody amazing. Especially the chickens. And all the pain. Joss just hasn't even started compared to this ep.

And, as you say, so totally, entirely from character. Every step of the way an appalling inevitability.

I think the announcer was right about the actually stopping breathing there. God it was brilliant.

Joss is a rank arrogant amateur who couldn't dream of writing something this grown up in all the best meaning of the term. And never will unless he spits out his own Kool Aid.

I know I definitely stopped breathing there a number of times, then I looked at the clocks and knew there was still more brilliance to come.

Such a brilliant show.

I'm still digesting this episode - I agree with each and every OMG, and the poor Nina, Annie, Mitchell and George - they are all in for the most insane ride. I have two fears - that this is the last season (please tell me that's totally not true) or they really are going to kill Mitchell (who deserves it, I know, but...) god. why. is. this damn show. so. damn good!

They haven't told us either way on a Season Four, but I don't expect them to until after next Sunday anyway. More tension that way.

I think Mitchell will get his by the werewolf shaped bullet. All the other guns on the walls have gone off, so there's no reason that won't. But I think the Zombie ep was there for a reason, and if we don't get a new season for Hobbitt related reasons, it would be the built-in loophole I'd use to get M&A back, as I'm sure she'll do as she said and go with him.

I don't know...watching Mitchell die will be some rough ass television;)...much tougher than Spike's demise, I just know it. But I have faith...(actually, the story is what has driven this entire series and the writers are true to story, so it's as you say - written on the walls...)

I'm constantly amazed that BH can flip you from comedy, to tragedy, to horror in a heartbeat.
