I liked that much better.
Some genuine scares.
Nods to the classic show: Nightmare of Eden, stepping into a forest, and the lets blind the companion temporarily of Sarah Jane.
Yes, jumping another bloke the night before your wedding is naughty, but I think the Doctor gets to be an exemption. Plus, I love women taking ownership of their sexuality and going for what they want. What I loathe wit ha deep and firey passion is women (and sometimes men) being punished by the text for it. So, Moff, lets hope for the former.
Either way, I think I'm now an Eleven/Amy shipper. As that had some definite chemistry.
Especially after the Zoe-esque forehead kiss earlier.
Though I was pleased River got more development and backstory, which she needs to be a more solid character if she's to recurr as it seems she will.
The Crack is developed and we've got now got the gun placed on the wall (literally) in the explosion and the murder of a good man. So, presumably a Doctor fake-out Rory self-sacrifice is in the works, as Rory gets taken out for a spin next week in the Vamps in Venice ep aka the Casanova crossover of Vampdom.
The time being eaten/taken back/rewritten is scary and covers nicely the past events not being remembered as well as continuity problems like the remembering of the Daleks, Cyberking or the multiple demises of Atlantis in the classic series.
It would have been scarier with snappier directing but I did enjoy this one.
And am looking forward to next week.

Just a drive by to say hello and ask about the elections and how is it going over there...

Waves back:) The elections aren't going so well for my lot unfortunately. Not that we haven't brought some of it on ourselves, but its still really depressing.
