Though I do think he'll stay dead. They played the bringing him back card once to go for the one-two on the audience/redeem him from S1 and I don't think they'll want to undo the emotional impact by bringing him back again. Also killing Tosh and Owen furthers they all die young thread to the story they're telling. They did a temp exemption to that by bringing him back with major consequences and those would be hard to top if they were to do again. If they did the radioactivity of the guy would at least imply waiting centuries so he didn't contaminate the living. There's a fic in it as Owen the cause of the Heamovores in Fenric but that would be really sticking the angst knife into the character way in excess to his faults.
