Supernatural Show - skanky race and gender issues plus worms?
Some of us are seriously wormaphobic.
Unable to watch gibbering wormaphobic.
So multiple worm shots plus the show offing another black woman - with the continued lack of balancing positive black characters with agency that don't die - all the sexist terms used towards Ruby, the coven of cretins with side orders of bunny boilers and use of femme-yay to titillate the audience rather than as a feature of a character really didn't sit well .
This despite the revelations on the nature of demons and Ruby backstory with the clear implications for Dean's fate and possibilities for redeeming him and Ruby through keeping self-hood- both of which I enjoyed, as someone interested in redemption stories.
And the rabbit and Bachman Turner Overdrive refs, which I did enjoy.
But otherwise, Show, you really can do better. Do try. Please.
Smallville The return of Pookiac - looking pale and being the interest in the story - as well as smart and snarky and winning. *pets* beloved homicidal supercomputer and sends him off for a good meal as even though he looks hot poorly and pale it is important to make sure he's firing on all cylinders before taking on the BDA alien. I'm sure a slayer would be more nourishing than rats.
Wonders if JM and JG got to talk Theatre and Acting while they set over the Brainy as Lionel scene.
Good to see JG get more to do, even if most of the script sucked harder than a supercharged Hoover.
The lack of continuity - it burns.
Lex got to be Evil. Yay:) But a text to the mansion of trackability. The stupid - it burns,
Though not as bad as the Clana-Bizana. So, so, so bad.
The Julian story did do the job of showing rather than telling us Lex has cracked, which is something and I can see why writers not wanting future Supes to kill anyone used Lana to dispose (temporarily, I'm sure) of Biz, and I can also see why they'd want to give the female character that's slept with someone she didn't think was who they were for a month some agency to offset victimhood, but it was a shame the writing was a mess.
Biz really should have listened to Brainy - sunscreen and hats. Slip, slap, slop - not just for ozone holed areas.
More Brainy please, less Clana. I know the writing won't get any better so I'm not asking for the impossible.

*put upon sigh*
Poor Lex, so totally evil now...and nuttier than a fruitcake. It's fun, but kind of sad.

I do like the possibilities of Demon!Dean!, given that Ruby has somehow managed to hang on to her humanity. Now that would be interesting...

Dean Redemption for the win!
