Though I was more cynical than the show in that I did suspect one of the culprits to be a woman. RT clearly wouldn't go there.
Though why, that I'm not so sure, given that the feminazis rape faking not only was wasting police time, conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and completely fucking out of order on doing more damage to the struggle than helping it but also presumably (as that wasn't explicit in the script) gave Mercer a false alibi and so not only led to the drugging of an innocent girl and Veronica's getting thwacked but extended the trauma of the real victims as the rapists stayed free for way longer than necessary. And then they add criminal damage and harassment to the Dean. Boot the bitches off campus. A nice re-education course in how not to sabotage the cause and basic decency might well come in handy. And gloating, especially incredibly lame, cheap one car gloating - beyond tacky.
Veronica actually making use of her phone to recall Wallace and co after sending them off on a wild goose chase so there would be someone there to avoid having to go al unicorn on Mercer's ass would have been good. Or using it to call Logan, her dad, the campus police, the real police, the Easter Bunny, anyone to actually do something smart rather than letting the authorial strings show so Parker can be all empowery and Veronica can be all in peril - sympathise with her, you bastards.
And first signs of what she knows is being drugged she doesn't even try sticking her fingers down her throat and gluging water to flush it out of the system?

Campus police take jurisdiction over real police. I do not get the US legal system one little bit. Especially in ignoring bomb threats. I guess its the having been brought up with real ones for my whole life.
Can we never ever hear the r word or plot device used ever again on this fucking show. The writers have proved they can't handle it properly and have over played it and the threat of it as a sympathy boosting device for Veronica like whoa.
RT, Mercer? Monologing? Seriously? No longer an option post The Incredibles.
I did like Logan breaking up with her and that RT had enough sense to have her show her upset over it in the shower scene. However, I'm sure RT will be back to Logan bad, Veronica good form stat.
I also liked Logan fist clenching and getting himself where he could do the most damage at the end - though I'd have preferred him to tag team with Weevil to give them a damned good kicking.
The Dean stuff was good, even if he knows nothing of good scotch. I did feel sorry for him, but I guess the actor cost money. At least the next mystery might actually make not want to throw things at the screen.
It was great to see Mac. Can we have more of her, please.
Also Weevil. Bless him for being so competent at his job and pets the poor lad for being the one to discover the body.
And can we can Piz. I know we won't. RT loves his Marty Stus beyond all reason, but he really was exceptionally irritating. He's a combo Riley Finn/Infestation of Potentials with the scene sucking horror of both.
That shot of the unicorn horn coming out of the leg - terrible special effect. Don't have the money to do it properly, don' t do it in close up.
It had pace, which the show's lacked but the flaws in the basic mystery and ineptness of the writers in sacrificing character for plot left it no where near what it could have been.
