So, that would be the writers literally putting the gun on the mantelpiece then?
The way out of Dean going to Hell - shoot the Crossroads Demon with the repaired Colt.
Which was made in the first place with the design process by dissident demon Ruby.
After all, the show does like the direct route through its problems, just like the boys.
About whom, Dean was just so adorably Dean. So much love.
Especially for the Supernatural does Who's Boomtown's talking with the 'monster of the week'.
Which I loved. How could I not eat up all that lovely moral complexity with a spoon.
Especially when it furthers the show's free-will status and Dean learning and thinking about the issues.
And it further pushed the question of Sam maybe coming back wrong.
Hopes this show doesn't weasel out and claim molecular sunburn.
*Spits*
It had to be the priest being evil, so I wasn't surprised, but nice red herring/simple human evil is the most dangerous of all with General Hammond.
I'm also loving Ruby.
They're giving her classic rogue lines. How could I not? Give me those and I'm a happy bunny.
Bobby continues to rock.
And nice humorous bad hunter/another of Dean's shadow doubles, only where Gordon is the bad side of hunting taken to excess, Sleazoid is more Dean's human weaknesses taken to excess - with neither path leading to a good place.
Smallville - the meta; it burns
Now to nurse my incipient cold.
