Supernatural: Ben, The X Files want their episode back. If this were fanfic, Ben Edlund would be looking at such a shit storm over plagiarism that he'd need industrial strength overalls and a diving helmet. It was a fun story. 'I have an Evil Twin' is never a bad line, Dean singing REO Speedwagon. giving up the Impala, Jo hustling the guy at video games, tons of great one liners and of course, the whole confirmation that Dean is human and so subject to being influenced by demon spawn and what does that make Sam the Immune, oh yep, half-demon himself and consequently a half-brother via the mom Dean currently has Issues with, and about which knowledge Dean's currently tearing himself apart trying to shield Sam from. I do love my show. I just wish that when they hire writers like Edlund that they made sure he wrote his own stuff instead of reduxing other peoples.
Nice use of shadow doubles though with the brothers.

Smallville: It is good to note that SDK has learnt that if one is going to have a character beat another to pulp that it is sensible to make the one doing the beating the crap the supervillian, also that apologies to the victims of ones past abuse are necessary if one is to expect the audience to regard the character as anything other than irredeemable pond scum. Learning is good. I applaud Mr De Knight for this admittedly incredibly tardy realisation, but I still can't stand Oliver Queen, bullying asshole that he is, and was very happy he got skewered with his own arrow. I also don't like how while they're trying to painfully hard to make this Lois a smart cookie proto Pulitzer winning reporter she's not only too dumb to recognise Clark's secret activities but is missing Oliver's too. Chloe rocked, as did the Magnificent Bastard. The Lex anvils were painfully obvious but often are in this show. MR did a good job on it.

Veronica Mars: I enjoyed emotional, so very lonely and hurting Logan and that the LoVe got some nice stuff. I loathe the 2 D portrayal of the 'Feminists' and do wish that they'd hire writers that had the first clue about finance and the law. The repeated errors in these areas are not just painful, they help destroy the whole willing suspension of disbelief that is a foundation of good drama.

This round up of conciseness has been brought to you by Flu Jab, arm aching to asthmatics (almost) everywhere.
