Yesterday morning started with a stomach bug I don't seem able to shift.
Was followed by moving sharply and one the lenses flying out of my glasses. Lucky I opted for plastic lenses, as that's how the last pair of glass glasses died on me. Luckier still that the opticians were open and able to screw the lens back in place, though negative points for the twit that wanted me to try them on to see how they fit. With such an extreme prescription x2 with my contacts in to get me there - recipe for extreme eye discomfort and much boggling.

Far, far more enjoyable was seeing Pride and Prejudice with the lovely ljs staring Keira Knightly and Poor Tom from Spooks ( spoilers ).

Then we popped into a converted period house on the Kings Road to share a pizza, analyse the film and shred/rewrite S6/7 and came back here to watch Spooks 4.3. All of which was excellent fun.
